Service Resource at Skräddaren Care and Nursing Home

The elderly care in Umeå municipality aims to be a resource that liberates and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through closeness and interaction.

To allow our care staff to focus more on care, we are now looking for you who are interested in working with the surrounding tasks that also exist in our care and nursing homes. By complementing this role, we create better conditions to achieve our vision: "Together for a better life - life out!"

We are currently looking for someone to work as a service resource at Skräddaren Care and Nursing Home. The residence is centrally located in Teg, about 1.5 km from Umeå city center, close to the Ume River and beautiful green areas. The residence has 47 apartments distributed over three floors, with each floor consisting of two smaller units.

Your tasks

You will primarily work with laundry and cleaning tasks. This includes washing residents' and staff's clothes, as well as cleaning residents' apartments, laundry rooms, and other common areas.

Your tasks will also include kitchen and food handling, such as receiving deliveries, sorting and distributing food to the units, assisting with meal serving, and taking care of dishes.

Additionally, your tasks may also include providing support during meals, simple care interventions, and accompanying residents on walks.

About you

We are looking for someone who is flexible and has good teamwork skills. You work meticulously and with quality awareness, and you have a strong sense of service. To thrive in this role, you need to be able to receive instructions, work in a structured manner, and also take independent responsibility for your tasks. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

There may be pets in the residence, so you should not be allergic.

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language to communicate with residents, relatives, and colleagues

Meritorious

• Trained cleaner or service resource
• Experience in elderly care

Other

- A permanent position with a start date as soon as possible by agreement. Working hours are scheduled during the day.
